Castlepoint now have the whole block aside from the properties fronting Charles and the Shoppers redev. 716 was sold in December. $4600 per sq ft lot.
 
And thus they now have an assembly large enough to build a real tower on. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with.
 
Is the OPA applicable to the rear portion along St. Nicholas? My bet would be on something similar to 5 St. Nick's, retaining the heritage at the front.

EDIT: It appears it is applicable to the whole block, in which case scratch what I just said.

They're still hankered by OPA 183 - what do you mean by 'real tower'?
one that has a large enough site to provide proper setbacks. You could probably get something in the 170 metre range even taking into account OPA 183. Probably something similar to Clover on Yonge.
