Side note but I really wish Infiniti 1 and 2 had brick or black accents just to break up the sea of blue and to work with the round house a bit better. Something along the lines of a River City or Garrison at the Yards. I am a pretty big booster of South Core but Infiniti is definitely the ugly duckling(s) of the area. Infiniti 2 also has its ugly back to the Gardiner. Okay enough bitching.

As far as the "sea of blue", that is my problem with South Core. Some of the designs are interesting but it's the monotony of the blue glass that makes the area look like a McDevelopment.

Last week my civil engineering class went on a tour of the Ice towers. The views are great! I also found out that the balcony glass will finally begin shortly.

When posting from flickr, this is the easiest way:
