i think that's the model the TTC eventually wants to move to and I think it's a good thing. I wonder if anything ever came from Moscoe's pondering of station managers awhile back when they were talking about it in conjunction with the automatic train control project.

To keep staffing the gates would be a waste of technology. The idea of having more employees helping passengers sounds great (some could also be retrained as special constables).
