The signs are supposed to be up by Fall 2007. Fall technically isn't over until just a few days before Christmas. We shall see!

Speaking about the Eaton Centre signage, how come they NEVER put a sign on the bridge on the Queen street side? Usually alot of tourists around that area to see NPS and Old City, and not many of them know that the Eaton Centre is just right there.
It'd have been nice if they have two signages on the bridge/platform walkway, Eaton Centre on the left, the Bay on the right.
But then, only people with common sense can think of something like that

Walked by this afternoon and noticed more activity...they are installing large trusses (they looked similar to the ones used to mount the video board) above the video board. Looks like the tri-vision sign wrapping the corner is definitely coming (as opposed to a back-lit sign).
Also, there were these new 'digital art' spots which were unique...

Looks huge...like another LED screen or Trivision is coming soon!!
The Trusses are the exact same as used to mount the LED.

Its the brackets for the Tri-vision. I am going to see if I can get some pics before it gets dark. Otherwise tomorrow.

or they only got one advertiser on one face of the trivision... and it'll rotate between that and two faces that will be blank, minus a giant Penequity Logo.

Yes Pen Equity is inept, but still. The other suppliers of advertising space in the square seem to find clients. Probably wont be hard for Penex Media (lol!) to do the same.

When this area is finally complete it's going to be one of the cities best assets. You get a real sense of urban density and vibrancy. Also in the first picture imagine ROCP 3 in that shot.

Around seven this evening they had some construction workers up on one of the platforms preparing some brackets. East of the Trivision.Hopefully you get another sign soon.
