^ Good eye again! I actually noticed the same omission on a Widdicombe Hill Blvd sign a few weeks back - although you can probably chalk that one up to space-saving. Not sure what the Wells Hill excuse is, unless there's some policy against giving "Hill" streets their proper postfixes...
On another note, this private street in Rosedale is the only example I know of in Toronto of a street being called a close (an extremely common term in the UK for a cul-de-sac):

Park Home Ave (at Yonge St). The sign says "Historic community of Lansing", and has some historical dates at the bottom.
