Just for fun... I had never seen this before... I guess the streets were clean enough so he decided to water the weeds?

^Unwin Street... just west of Leslie Street. (Maybe the operator was worried the force of the water would further destroy the pavement?)

It could be some waterfront project (the water was probably for newly planted trees). Or maybe it was a testing process of some sort.

As much as I would like to see those guys in neat outfits quietly cleaning the street, we all know that in practice, it would be big masculine woman with a moustache, in overall jeans, old sneakers and smoking a joint sweeping the streets begrudgingly.

I prefer the status quo. Fast, and generally -- at least for my awaken schedule -- absent because they do their thing early in the morning.
