St. Anne's Anglican Church (St. Annes, ?s, ?)

Hundreds of churches are being burnt down to the ground across this country and not a single Political figure is standing up, condemning these acts. No one is calling it Christinophobia, not a single one being investigated, not a single news outlet is reporting these deliberate arsons. Everyone is silent, Christians are the most targeted people in this country. Where is Trudeau coming out and condemning these acts?

We don't know yet if it's arson.

Evidence please. And no, this tragedy...to which is likely caused by an accident is unlikely to be one of them. Nor is that news article you have cited.

I am finding from social media that the "attacks on Christianity" crowd is piggybacking off the disaster fairly aggressively--ironically in a way that betrays that they have no real clue as to what's been lost here (because the only "heritage" they're concerned with is the more loadedly abstract matter of "Judeo-Christian heritage") as well as the fact that the St Anne's clergy and congregation would themselves want nothing to do with them--indeed, said "attacks on Christianity" crowd would likely accuse *St Anne's* of being complicit in the "attack on Christian values", i.e. "they had it coming". (And with that in mind, it's an altogether plausible notion--which I'm *not* postulating as fact--that a fire like this could be set by far-right "anti-woke" Christian zealots, a little like bombing abortion clinics, threats to RINOs from MAGAs, etc)

Indeed.

Its not a competition.

Then don't use hyperbole like "the most targeted people", which implies that there's an oppression olympics that y'all are winning – which is self-evidently incorrect in a country where Palestinians are regularly harassed by the police, where antisemitism is on the rise, where legislation is being passed to push trans people out of public life, where first nations people are murdered with shocking regularity, etc etc etc

(also, an op-ed that unironically uses the term "woke" posted on a deeply transphobic website is not "evidence" of anything except how quickly i'm clicking the mute button)
