Rob Ford's Toronto

Another fun rumour out there lately has been that Fantino tried to meddle with investigation to protect Ford.

Fantino. That ghoul. Man, how many stakes do you have to put in that damn Dracula? What f'ing dog does he have in this crapshow?

Vaughn has to be one of the most corrupt shit holes in the GTHA to levitate that vapid, authoritarian corpse to any semblance of political authority.

It helps they got a $10M kickstart from Harper for the Vaughn Hospital just weeks before the election. Never mind the Feds can't fund hospitals (provincial only) AND that the $10M evaporated into a trust run by Fantino's lead fundraiser. He is greasy. His associates are greasy....

So Russian mafia = Italian cops? :)

Not the Russian mafia part, that part I think is just MetroMan blowing something out proportion. I mean his whole part about hearing rumours of higher ups slowing the arrest down and trying to politically isolate themselves from the shitstorm.

Not that Ford's supporters would care (even if they had the facts), but:

Is there an easily-accessible record of councillor (and mayor) requests to have votes reopened? And if so of votes for and against allowing the same? (It goes without saying that Robinoccio's repeated claim that 'it happens at every single council meeting' is Doug Ford-grade horse shit, but how often does it happen - and how often has Robinoccio opposed the very thing he was asking for?)
