When I first heard him mention looking after Dougie and Stephanie, it sounded to my ears like he was pleading for a fundraising campaign. Whatever the GoFundMe is for sick people. For him it probably wouldn't be much different than a bobblehead sale - if his illness could collect tens of thousands for his kids it would be further evidence of what a superstar Rob Ford is, of how much he means to the folk.

Typezed, there are some times when you just nail it, and this is one of them.

Ew yuck an' all, but wearing my FoFam glasses that idea makes too much sense.

Maybe the Fords' continuing media popularity can be explained because the viewing public knows something we don't: the story narrative has changed.

No longer politicians pretending to be celebrities ; it's celebrities pretending to be politicians.

I don't know why, but my juvenille self found it funny in the CP24 interview, that Rob mentions the Cystoscopy, and how there is no way around that one. He obviously tried getting out of it.

Good grief -- how hard is it to figure out how to contact Rob Ford. He has an email address on his councillor website, has a twitter account, etc.

If this guy is not capable of figuring how to reach him, then I am sure he is perfectly trustworthy in helping him to cure his cancer

Interestingly, he's slamming all the Ford toadies for wasting money. The only tax and spend leftie mentioned in that letter was Pam McConell.

Mikey has been talking a lot since his FoFam-controlled Ward 2 run ended abruptly. On twitter, to media, etc. And a lot of what he's been saying is not Ford-fanbase-friendly. I wouldn't be surprised if he's happier doing the school trustee thing, and I wouldn't be surprised if the FoFam is no longer interested in him as a suitable heir for Ward 2 (let's not forget that they consider it their personal fifedom).

My money is on Krista. Now that she's married, it'll soon be time for her to start popping out more Fords. What better "gift" to taxpayers than for them to personally fund her mat leave?
