Mayor Rob Ford had another “intoxicated” night at City Hall on Easter Monday, according to a newly released security report.
But Councillor Doug Ford claimed Friday that the mayor wasn’t “intoxicated” that night.
“He had muscle spasms in his legs but that is about as far as I saw,” Ford told the Toronto Sun.
According to a report filed by an unnamed security guard on duty April 21, Rob Ford appeared “intoxicated” and spent around an hour in the his office with an unknown woman. He was helped out of the building by his brother and campaign manager, the report stated
Security camera footage from that night shows Ford staggering as he is led into the underground parking garage by his brother and security guard Mike Toolaram, then stumbling onto the parking garage floor before being helped into the passenger seat of his Cadillac Escalade.
The report and video, released by the city through a Freedom of Information request, is the latest in a long line of bizarre late-night incidents at City Hall involving the embattled mayor.
Days after the Easter Monday episode, Ford took a leave of absence and entered rehab for an admitted “problem with alcohol.”
