Not Ford. Nazim Gillani (Rahim's Jaffer's ex-business partner, who used to live around the corner from Ford) called Club Paradise his "office" and is rumoured to have brought business acquaintances there for meetings/blackmailable activities. The most-recent RoFo connection (other than the connections re: Central Etocicoke, right-wing politicians, cocaine, DUI, lenient treatment at the hands of the police, etc.) was that Cachet Ladies was reported to be Gillani's source for escorts, and IIRC was specifically named as the source of the "busty hookers" with whom Gillani and Jaffer partied at Harbour 60 on the night Jaffer got busted for DUI and coke possession.

And it's doubly angering because for the last six months I have been dealing with a good friend who is in an abusive relationship. She gets beat up regularly and she and her abuser both use alcohol as an excuse.

I'm single and have no children, but if I did I'd be extremely upset that this douche is our mayor. What child needs to look up to someone so vile?
 
With alcohol in my blood, my moral checks and filters dissolve; I'm not immune from the thoughts without the alcohol, but I can negate them, declare them false and wrong, and choose not to speak or act.

JW is claiming he called Rob using his usual cell phone number. Total bullshit, no way rehab is allowing Rob the use of his phone, especially since his "job" is one of the main reasons he's totally screwed up.

None of us should be surprised that this is all a lie, but the infuriating thing is how he makes it out to be so easy and amazing, and he's returning calls, etc. Granted, I think it was the media that said he was going into "rehab", while Thug only said he was "getting professional help" which is pretty vague, but most assumed he meant rehab. As always, assuming anything with these guys is dangerous because just about everything they spew is a lie.

Once again, they didn't ask the right question.
They should have asked, "Is Rob in a professionally accredited Rehabilitation Facility to treat his crack, booze and borderline personality disorder?"
 
Looks like The Sun is encouraging Ford to die from his addiction considering that cover of the paper. The last thing he needs is a cover like that. A few days in isn't the time for acting like you've kicked the habit. A long road to go.
 
The problem with the Fords is that they need constant validation. Nothing can be discrete with these two idiots - everything has to be "the best in the world"; "Amazing"' "Best City in the World"; "Greatest Mayor in the World". So of course Rob is probably in some sort of fat camp but DoFo/RoFo need the constant validation to tell the that world that he's doing amazing. This need for validation will be their undoing. A$$holes.
