-obstructing justice (just a guess… not sure exactly how, but it seems possible. Perhaps demonstrating knowledge of some aspect of the Bloods' illegal activities that was under investigation in Traveller and talking about how he'll keep it quiet? )
-obtaining substance (asking Lisi and others for drugs)
-driving under the influence (difficult to prove, but they may have enough)
-soliciting prostitution? (dream charge! juicy for the news cycle)

Any other guesses?

Perhaps Olivia Chow, John Tory, Karen Stintz and David Soknacki are waiting for the cops to do their campaign dirty work for them. Hardly shrewd strategy.


I never thought I'd see the day when a Sun reporter would jest about cops arresting a Toronto Mayor. Maybe the strategy is more shrewd than he wants to believe. I guess we'll know soon.

It's only happening if there are teams at multiple locations executing search warrants and escorting Ford for questioning.

It would make me very happy for that to be actually happening.

One of the 'experts' after the debate mentioned the same thing, saying basically that the other candidates need to up their game and shouldn't expect the cops to remove Ford from the race

Yes, and also useful occasion to note how wonderful it is to have folks like Nfitz (and me, but I'm not as good) remind other UT posters of their pre-crack hesitation to call Ford out for the subhuman scum that he is. What has the world come to if we can't rub people's noses in their own filth?

Don't forget me; though I tended to explore a more "meta" angle (i.e. steering away from the subhuman-scum accusations) re the macabre possibilities under a Ford mayoralty...
