The man's beyond reason. If the mayor is out of bounds where a TPS investigation is concerned, then who can investigate the mayor? The head of the OPP, even if he's unelected and happens to have been appointed by a Liberal PM? The RCMP?

How is this guy a journalist? How does he reach judgment (that there's a COI) and call for conclusions (necessity and costs) of an ongoing, very active criminal investigation? Who doesn't understand that those are questions that can't be answered until the investigation is finished?

With the OPP oversight, would the TPS still be performing the arrest? After the cocksucker comment I've been wondering if Blair would get a bit of revenge by arranging for the full perp-walk out of city hall in full view of the press.
