Rob Ford's Toronto

1) Canada grants asylum to refugees from war-torn lawless countries whose criminal records - if they have one - are impossible to verify. Even if they commit crimes once in Canada we cannot deport them because their "lives would be at risk". Canadians are paying a big price for this policy. Don't kid yourself!

2) Doug Ford has never been charged much less convicted of an indictable offense in Canada so why would he be denied a green card? Because the Globe and Mail came out with an unsubstantiated story that Doug sold drugs when he was in high school? smh!

It's as much unsubstantiated as the Toronto Star printing a story that they saw a video of Rob Ford smoking crack cocaine..We know how that ended up..

We know how round one ended. The Star is far from finished with those dirt bags. The Star isn't interested in being vindicated...they are interested in social justice.

Warmington, Levy and their ilk at the tabloid can just suck it up. It's fun to watch them squirm. Levy tried jumping ship, but it's too late, as Ford is stuck on her like sh*t on a blanket.

How Warmington gets on CNN is a mystery, but of course he redirects and deflects the story...that's what Warmington does in his race to the bottom of the journalistic barrel.

He knows CNN isn't going to question his "conspiracy", because they don't have a clue what he is talking about...and could care less. Shame on CNN for giving him a soapbox without being able to question his BS.

CNN is very, very shoddy. I remember watching a Rob Ford piece on Anderson Cooper's show and he was interviewing that Dr. Drew person to find out what makes Rob Ford tick. No wait, that's not the punchline. Check out this utter nonsense exchange:

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1311/07/acd.01.html

COOPER: Well, also, you know, I was reading one news that the crack smoking video broke, you know, the mayor denied it and one of the excuses Mayor Ford used that he had a twin brother who has all kinds of addictions and it must have been him on the video.

PINSKY: Yes.

COOPER: Again, that's more family history there.

PINSKY: If he has a -- if he has a monozygotic twin, if he has a twin that's genetically the same as him, not a fraternal twin, then the twin has advanced addiction, the probability of this man developing advanced addiction or alcoholism is overwhelmingly likely. So if that -- if that twin story is in fact true then again more evidence of how series this thing is, this medical problem and this is becoming a circus. Please, somebody help this man.

COOPER: Dr. Drew Pinsky, appreciate your joining us.

PINSKY: Sure.

COOPER: Thanks very much.

PINSKY: You bet.

COOPER: For more on the story, you of course can go to CNN.com.

Now, Cooper corrected the error later in the show (briefly and sort of incoherently), but still. What the hell? Were they conflating Doug Ford with Slurpy? Chris Farley with Ozzie Canseco? Who knows!

It's funny to hear Rob Ford and his lawyer say these are far fetched allegations. Why should anybody believe anything that comes from his mouth? He has proven to be a pathological liar and has no shred of credibility. I put more faith in the allegations made by the drug dealers than anything I hear from Rob Ford.

Ah, but remember, the American news agencies aren't interested in this from a political narrative at all...they aren't going to vote for him. They are just interested in the train wreck part. Non locals don't have a back story, so they are naturally interested in how the man can retain the approval rating he has (not that it's huge, but that it's anything at all)

But they are inadvertently hurting us Torontonians by allowing people to perpetuate the myth that while his personal behaviour is not what people approve of, his fabulous fiscal policies are. Except the bottom line is...he has been a fiscal nightmare. Yet the American channels will let that one slip unchallenged.

Even the media here aren't questioning his so called fiscal policies hard enough.

He claims he has saved the city a billion dollars? With all this savings, why did he have to go to Stephen Harper for the subway money and why are taxes being raised again for the subway? Why isn't he using some of the savings to pay for it. The Ford Nation nutjobs won't ask those kinds of questions. We are developing these types of Tea Party fanatics right here in Toronto.

I just read the latest ITO, version 4.0 i think!

Ford's phone was returned in april after Lisi exchanged the weed for it.

BUT.....the video was still being peddled up till may?

How could Ford's phone be THE phone used for the crack vid? The timeline doesn't work?
Um, why would you think Ford was filmed with his own phone??? I never did.

Joe Warmington's appearance on CNN with Jack Tapper

http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/v...on-rob-ford-tried-to-buy-crack-video.cnn.html

Joe tackles the political conspiracy angle and he cites the G20 aftermath as an example of how "Chief William Sterling Blair" will not be held accountable for his actions (i.e. failure to charge Ford with a crime) as this "is not like the U.S. " where public officials are actually held to account (if Blair was the Chief of an American Police force he would have been fired long ago).

More shameless self promotion.
