Not really sure what it means but thought I'd throw it on here. Someone else did some googling and told me the crown attorney being referred to is Franklin Moskoff.

Weird. He's a fossil. A retired crown attorney. A QC. Was a lawyer before Neil Armstrong walked on the moon.

I felt the same for a while, but I think the humour is more effective in spreading the anti-Ford message, than anger. Many people have been ranting, and raving about Ford for three years, only to be written off by Ford Nation as socialists. The jokes are just easier for the ignoramuses (Ford Nation) to understand. This isn't as ideal as Ford Nation learning how to think critically, but that's never going to happen.

The jokes are also a good coping mechanism for the people who have already put in a lot of time being angry with Ford. Being angry for three years straight isn't exactly healthy.

What is that last hanger in the closet that Rob is referring too?

So far the allegations are:
1) Smokes crack.
2) Smokes marijuana possibly while working or at workplace
3) Drinks too much, possibly at work
4) Sexually harasses staff and others
5) Physically assaults staff
6) possibly drink drives
7) possibly does cocaine
7) possibly uses escorts
8) has staff do liquor runs for him
9) has staff do "personal assistant" type jobs for him, i.e babysit, buy things for him, etc
10) had a friend with criminal record get a job as high school football coach by using a false name to pass police background check
11) offers random women whom he smoked marijuana with outside a bar a job with the city.
12) Attends functions as mayor while inebriated
13) Lies to the public, lies to the police. [i.e the Toronto Sun reporter "car chase", etc]
14) Turns out the the garbage contract was given out to a company whose owner donated to his campaign [source: http://www.torontolife.com/informer/features/2012/01/31/qa-patrick-dovigi/] as well as fraternizing with owner of the holding company. Not illegal or wrong, but seems fishy: they offered lowest bid, but now they are suing to get paid more.
15) hangs out with criminals and bought illicit drugs while mayor, yet he says he has zero tolerance for drug and gun crime.
16) Uses his position as mayor to get special treatment: i.e try to visit prisoner after hours, asking police to do a license plate check.
17) comes to work late, leaves early.

That's all I can think of so far. How much worse can this get?

So, Rob Ford just walked out of his office, admitted he might have drank and drove once or twice, announced he's going to sue everyone who testified to the police, is really upset they're calling Alanna a prostitute 'cause she's 'just a friend" (a 23 year old blond former Mrs Toronto"friend" it's been suggested), and denies all other sexual harassment claims as well because he's “happily married†and has “more than enough to eat at home.â€

Video is here; if at work, may want to grab the earphones. Ford has threatened to sue before but never done it because he can't win against the papers. I suspect he's basically taking this stance to try and force the staffers to avoid legal costs of fighting him by reversing their statements but honestly have no idea how viable it would be in Canada to try sue people for statements made in confidence to police that are only public because a Judge released them.

This ITO is just the gift that keeps on giving.

Amazing how virtually EVERYONE that Ford associated with while being surveilled had some kind of criminal record. It's just one criminal after another. Even if the guy never smoked crack or drank once in his life, his associations should be enough to show that he is unfit for office.
