I was looking for the SCTV clip where Melonville's mayor, Tommy Shanks (John Candy), was accused by newscasters of siphoning money off the children's milk fund. Enraged, the mayor runs down to the studio and assaults the newscasters. Almost too 'Life imitating Art' now.

This isn't quite as funny, but it's a good second choice...poor Tommy Shanks in recovery.

That's from back in May. I don't remember seeing that. Was that just an error or did we already know this and it was forgotten?

I was going to ask for opinions about Ford's wife, wondering how long she intended to suffer this ongoing humiliation (like being married to the asshole isn't bad enough), but if the rumors on the last few pages are true, it would seem she's reached her limit.

Other than being pig-headed, why are the Ford's so desperate to hold on to power? The NP article referred to Ford being worried about someone higher up being mad at his mess, maybe there is more going on than just a fucked up mayor.
