Ouzeri has closed for renovations and will be under new ownership. Will be interesting to see if it stays the same or whether they go in a new direction.
Meanwhile the now former owners of ouzeri have taken over the space that was leonidas chocolates. The new place is called lukumum, basically a Greek desert bar. Tried the loukoumades pretty good.

Planet of Sound on Danforth closer to Broadview appears to have closed. Too bad, friendly staff and a good store.

Mihalis Restaurant, just north of the Danforth on Broadview, will be closing for good. Their last day will be July 22nd.

Interesting. At one point their food was pretty good but it has gone downhill the last little bit. Hopefully things improve.

Wonderful! Someone from the kitchen of that establishment feeds the pigeons in the parket across the street - daily! Hopefully no one else takes over.........

Mamma's Pizza at 507 Danforth is now closed. Evicted for non-payment of rent. The place was always busy, so you have to wonder.

It's also a place that has attracted quite a cute, elderly type of customer. I thought it was quite pleasant. I hope those customers find another place they like.

Ouzeri is going to be taken over by the owners of Pan, not sure when it will reopen probably a slight delay with recent tragic events and the site being a memorial at this point, renovations of some sort will take place but I think the Ouzeri name will be kept, best wishes to all businesses on the main drag.
