realtor.ca

it took me F O R E V E R to load the website the first time I tried to access it .... and no I am not on dial-up ~

but once the page loaded all its scripts and applications, the new user interface where it shows listings based on the map area shown on screen is very neat, makes it very easy for someone interested looking in specific areas ~ and quite user friendly

I guess the big part of the HUMP would be getting over the inital wait ~

I wonder if it's a mac versus windows thing that for once works in apple's favour; realtor.ca loads up normally for me.

I have a Mac and it's slow for me as well. I'm no longer visiting the site.

I've been visiting the site quite a bit recently in my quest to track housing price changes, and on my new quad-core PC it loads fairly quickly. It's great to type in a price-range for the whole of Toronto and see what falls into it... I'm finding the site quite useful, now.

Any idea what it would cost someone who is about to get there real estate license? Id prefer not to sign up with a brokerage, and act independently. Im assuming there is a nice fee there ha.
