Work on the Daniel Libeskind designed L Tower begins. Sony Centre has the west side of its backside removed to accommodate it. The 57 storey L Tower is a product of Cityzen, Fernbrook Homes and Castlepoint Development.

Peel back the facade and regular brick pops up. Interesting!

500 Sherbourne nearing completion as the new owners complete their PDI's. That certainly is quite the view. This 35 storey building was developed by the Times Group and designed by Northgrave Architects.

Here's an update from Tridel's James Cooper Mansion project. Located on Sherbourne just south of Bloor, this 32 storey building was designed by Burka Architects alongside Goldsmith Borgal, who were brought in to help with the relocation and restoration of the 1881 built mansion. The mansion originally sat where the new tower is now rising.

This is what the 32 storey building should look like when completed. You can see the mansion to the right of the tower.
