I still think it should be reminded that the 1st Amendment does exist…because we shouldn’t ever let that reality be gaslit away in our timeline. So it needs to be repeated often, IMO.

….the weird thing here is, that during that monologue that set this all off is that Kimmel never really said anything disrespectful, mocking or inappropriate of Kirk or his death. That was mostly focused on Trump instead. So I can’t see how this was offensive as ABC, et al where claiming outside of hitting a nerve with the Orange Dinges-Dong. It seems all a contrived excuse in making a tempest in tea cup. And to put that mildly.

When I studied WWII history and the like it was always difficult to imagine how the German/Japanese populations let their countries devolve into what they devolved into. The last few years has really shone a light on that process and how powerless most of us are at the end of the day. Most of us have already lived through plenty of miserable events and there is only more to come.
They'll other Caitlyn when it suits them to do so. Her mistake is thinking getting close to them solidifies anything for her.
