Post your pictures of Toronto here!

I note that you've gone in for some "people pictures" lately - good for you - fun isn't it?

I went into the Scarborough "countryside" recently in search of the last remnants of farms.
These images are near the intersection of Steeles and Tapscott.

So Goldie, was that you entering the property just after 4 PM?
And maybe it was you again this morning on the north side of Sewells Rd and Steeles? Small SUV and tripod?
If I'd of known I'd have stopped and said "Hello"!

My visit was Thurs/Mar/22 about 3 pm.
No SUV!

Yes, Thursday makes sense for the tapscott property, you were parked just outside the gate. That house was only recently removed, maybe a year or two....
I have been driving this stretch of road, twice a day, since Jan. 2003, and seen many changes. Most of the south side properties were occupied, now most are gone. There is a nice white house near Sewells that burned just after the occupants vacated. All of this land on both sides of Steeles is federal park land. Part of the federal Rouge park, including Whittemores berry farm. They lease it, something that is set to change soon.
Another property of interest is across from the Catholic Cemetry, a small white and green house. It was used for the Anne of Green Gables series.
This morning there was a gentlemen setting up a tripod at Sewells rd. looked like he was setting up to photograph the train tracks headed east/southeast.
Just south of that intersection is your abandoned CNoR bridge abutments over Sewells as well.

This mural - Bathurst, just below Bloor - was underway last year.
I expect it's completed by now - anyone have a recent photo?

Today.

Elizabeth Street, on the block north of New City Hall, dolled up for a movie shoot with fake signage. The movie is called 'Still Seas'.
