nice colour! like a lot of contemporary art it leaves people scratching their heads: ie. why are the bears orange?, why are they disappearing into the wall? is this piece about global warming? etc etc...of course there are no answers--the work just is.

they use the same device as Robert Gober's early work. his work is more disturbing and surreal of course. the bears are quite light and pop looking in comparison...

deepend, tThose artworks remind me very much of a piece of public art I once saw, more didactic I think, but certainly effective. In a poor-ish part of Sao Paulo, sitting on a building that provides social assistance, I thought it made an effective statement.

The future belong to us! The SNAILS!

And humans seem to interact with us better than with bears.
