The issue they find themselves in is that, whether by design or not, the CPC is Poilievre at this point. There's been no successor-apparent in the party, and no work on any sort of opposition leadership challengers. They're snuffing out people looking to leave the party, let alone challenge from within. Seems at this point the party is more likely to crash and burn with Poilievre behind the wheel than it is to rid themselves of him. They've made their alt-right bed and they're going to sleep in it, for better or for worse.I was surprised the CPC didn't turf PP after single handedly blowing a huge lead just weeks before the election.
