I've been looking for updates on this project everywhere... thanks for posting the pictures Jasonzed.
Its good to see them working on it but there's no way they're meeting the tentative occupancy of June 19th, 2018.

wait, a developer actually issues timelines that short? Are they nuts? This is more like June 19th, 2020 completion. They will be lucky to be done the parking garage by 2018.

Yep. It does say outside occupancy date is June 2021, so I guess everything in between is possible. To be fair I should've familiarized myself with the timelines on pre-construction condos, I was tempted by the deposit structure which would work well for me. Guess I'll continue to rent for a couple more years.

This pic show how fake MCC looks as a downtown...a block of highrises, a row of townhouses as a thin transition zone, then wham!...a subdivision. There's no downtown shoulder or inner city.

Well the subdivisions were there first so I don't know what you propose instead?

I was just saying it doesn't feel like the real thing because of the subdivision. That subdivision should not have been built so close to MCC.
