I've never been inside this place, but it could be useful for the annual comedy fest in late September/early October. They like to use a small number of venues that are close to others they already use, and The Comedy Bar is nearby (945 Bloor W), with the advantage of also being on the subway line. Nothing to do with JFL or the festival, but I see Gilbert Gottfried has three shows at ParadiseOnBloor in March.

I love this! If STYX comes to town to play a show they should perform here. It would be perfect for them! Or Dennis DeYoung could do a solo show here! As Dennis himself has said, "I'm playing my songs and they're (STYX) playing my songs!"

I guess the Sunday March 27 (I went straight there from the Canada/Jamaica soccer game at BMO Field) show I went to was his last one here. He looked a little shaky at times, but I didn't think it seemed to be all that bad.
