It’s a yard for watermain construction on Queen Street. Nothing to do with the OBRY.

In general I'd agree with you, but I'm sure that that diamond costs CN extra money to maintain versus straight rail. Also, like all things construction related, it's only going to cost more to do it later, and they can start saving on special work inspections immediately if they do it now. It's win-win for them to get it out asap.

There was a post in Bruce Rails at 12:04AM today with the following:

I stopped by the diamond this evening and the south track portion was gone and the CN crews were busy cutting rail to remove the north track portion. The OBRY signals were still lit.
