Agreed! Nice new mid-rise. I love that Concert builds rental apartment buildings, too. I have been impressed with their projects thus far. As UD says, this project is "conservative, but tolerable." It won't stick out, but is welcome addition to the area for sure.

This project no longer has any TCHC connections so thread title could be adjusted. It's purely a Concert project. Their website says:
Currently under construction, One32 Berkeley will be a 10-storey, 177-home new rental mid-rise.
Completing in summer 2013, One32 Berkeley will offer studio, one, two and three bedroom rental homes featuring contemporary finishes designed by Alex Chapman and partners of Union31. Most homes offer five energy-efficient appliances including dishwasher and in-suite laundry.
One32 Berkeley is located in one of the hottest neighbourhoods in downtown Toronto – Corktown. The neighbourhood has a great variety of everyday amenities, shops, restaurants and entertainment. The close proximity to the downtown core and major schools – George Brown College, Ryerson and University of Toronto – will make One32 Berkeley a highly desirable rental building.
Residents of One32 Berkeley will enjoy amenities including a spacious party room with adjoining terrace, fitness studio and library/meeting room.
