Strange is a bit of an understatement....

I would say "dangerously out of control roller coaster ride heading for that out of order tracks that were suppose to have been repaired last year scenerio" that's been the trademark of the Bush years and the overall tone of the administration in general.

I suspect within the next 10-15 years you're going to see the alternative fuel industry explode into a fury of new inventions and innovations.

how much did you pay and is it everything they say it is?

The Star had an article about air heat pumps, with a new high efficiency model costing about $14,000 with government incentives. Which, apparently, is about the same as a new high-end heating and air conditioning system.

I personally don't care for AC, which tips the cost equation well out of favour for heat pumps.

That would be plenty. Heat pumps don't use that much electricity. Of course, the real problem is intermittency.
