A reasonable Niagara development that actually might get built?

Reasonably ugly. LOL

Yes, its conceptually reasonable in terms of size and function, but man is that some awful architecture, actually for 3 different buildings stacked one on top of the other.........ugh.

Why this one, rather than all the other tall proposals that have gone nowhere?

Hideousness aside I do like this proposal objectively. It would be nice to help bridge the disconnect between the Clifton Hill and Fallsview districts. My concern is what hotel brands would want in here. The location isn't amazing so I can't see this being any mid to high tier hotel brand that isn't already in town, like a W by Marriott or one of Hilton's many new brands, and certainly nothing like a Fairmont or Waldorf Astoria. Maybe a Novotel would do alright here but I can't see Accor putting any of their other brands in here. Just an interesting thought.

I thought this development passed when I heard about it on last Tuesdays city council meeting. Vote in the Twin Towers on a triangular podium . As well as the 20 storey rental tower on 6289 Main street from the previous council meeting! But will there be another hole in the ground that doesn't reach grade?
