Hopefully, the backyard won't be reduced to being entirely for parking. Part of the appeal of the city's low-rise neighbourhoods is the greenery in yards.

It's pleasant to see trees and greenery and beneficial from a psychological perspective (which translates into higher property values). It also helps to mitigate the urban heat island effect on a local level.
 
2413 Dundas St W which is the building that houses Merseyside Café. Addition of 4 units but couldn’t find any documents on the C of A site. What I did find was a Change.org petition to have it stopped which worked initially but ultimately failed. Usual complaints.
