Now, rear of The Sheraton Centre

The Sheraton Centre really sterilized that block. Not every building was worth saving, but there used to be a varied streetscape with a mix of uses. Now, there are just endless concrete walls, anonymous windows, and driveways on Queen Street, York Street, and Richmond Street around its perimeter.

What a shame such a grand building was torn down. That whole intersection used to be a lot more handsome, there's some more angles here.
