Interesting to see a couple of guys working a double-ended cross cut saw on what looks like a decking timber in the 1950 shot.

Not a lot of OHS equipment in sight (hardhats, vests, etc.).

Old Toronto photos remind me of how much the city has evolved, but they also celebrate its quirky roots. It’s like discovering hidden gems that show us where we came from. Thanks for posting.
