For most here, this is a special time of year, religious or not, or of different faiths........its a time when most get to take a few days off work, commune w/family and friends, and celebrate another year passing.

My best wishes to all who contribute and lurk here.

May you enjoy fine food, great company and have the best of New Years towards which you look forward.

Warmest Regards,

NL

Now is the time to reflect on 2024.

Here's hoping for everything to go well in life in 2025.

When bad things happen in life, it is best to persevere.

In the meantime, make the best use of life and enjoy the festivities.

Best regards,

Johnny Au
This is so true. Christmas can be a triggering time for some folks. Last Sunday as I was taking the little one and the wife for photos with Santa, we had the misfortune of driving past a body on the QEW under the Royal Windsor on ramp bridge. Fortunately, we didn't see the person jump and subsequently struck but we did have to drive past the tarped body and the personal effects that littered the roadway. I found it extremely upsetting knowing someone chose to end their life just ahead of us three days before Christmas.
