I was on a bus when it unexpectedly started driving up Roncesvalles on Tuesday, and it was like the heavens opened! Finally! Travelling to Dundas West will take ten minutes by transit - not upwards of 25-30 minutes.
Now the bad news. Instead of rebuilding the streetcar stop platforms at the same time as the KQRQ intersection, they are doing it now. Hence the use of buses.I was on a bus when it unexpectedly started driving up Roncesvalles on Tuesday, and it was like the heavens opened! Finally! This has been discussed and (rightly) complained about for weeks - no need to have a fresh attack of outrage! Now the bad news. Instead of rebuilding the streetcar stop platforms at the same time as the KQRQ intersection, they are doing it now. Hence the use of buses.
It's going to be a race to the finish line to see which one opens first, either the Crosstown LRT or this laughing languishing joke of a reconstruction project. Every time I pass by this site there's literally no work going on, so I dont know if they're working for 2 hours a day and then call it quits until the next day.Still not done
That's been the trend with the new stop locations - for example along King Street. Though this stop was always quite far north - even before the rebuild of the stop around 2010 or so.In the name of traffic, please walk further north of Queen for your stop

Looking in Streetview, the old shelter location is about the middle of the current platform. But the pole itself was about 15 metres further south. So the old pole was at the south end of the new stop - and the stop has moved about 30 metres north.
Is there still a south-side stop as well?
That is the southbound and the other one is the only northbound stop now. The other one has removed as plan.I meant a northbound south side stop. That looks like a southbound south side stop.
Where would a westbound 508 passenger (if 508 ever runs again) disembark, if the other one has been removed? That is the southbound and the other one is the only northbound stop now. The other one has removed as plan.
