It turns out she's just an idiot. She took the Royal York PATH connection out of Union Station, and got lost getting to the Royal Bank Centre and then up to TD.

99% of people exiting Union Station from the GO won't even be in the vicinity of the Royal York exit. No one is that idiotic.

Police said there were a number of unsecured signs in the area that threatened to come crashing down the same way the first sign did. So until crews could be dispatched to secure the signs, everyone was kept out of the area.

So I guess we don't bother securing signs until they start swinging in the wind? What's the deal there, isn't there some kind of safety standard? Geez, coulda been a massacre...

I'm a bit surprised the city isn't demanding compensation for the cost of policing and the fact that one of its major roads had to be closed for awhile.
