How many runs does oil have left??

I'm not sure electrification addresses those other concerns. Motorcycling, is still a capital intensive hobby that requires a substantial suburban lifestyle. Gotta have a house to store that bike.
In North America urban terms perhaps but in other parts of the world you find bikes (which tend towards the smaller) parked on-street, on sidewalks, etc. The issue with bikes in our context, as a hobby or commute option, is it is remains climate-dependent except for the very committed.

Oil’s big pivot is coming.

The Proliferation of Toxic Plastics and Chemicals Must End

“As the United States comes to grips with the climate crisis, fossil fuels will slowly recede from being primary sources of energy. That’s the good news. But the bad news is that the petrochemical industry is counting on greatly increasing the production of plastics and toxic chemicals made from fossil fuels to profit from its reserves of oil and gas.”

People just need remember that recycling plastic is just a ploy by oil companies to make it seem like plastics are a sustainable material

Not much pivoting in Canada.

The federal government will formally approve the Bay du Nord offshore oil megaproject after markets close at 4 p.m. ET, CBC News has learned from multiple sources who are not authorized to speak publicly.

Norwegian oil company Equinor and its partners plan to develop the oil field at the Flemish Pass, about 500 kilometres east of St. John's. Bay du Nord will be the first project to move the offshore oil industry into such deep waters, with drilling more than a kilometre underwater. Their plan is to use a massive floating production, storage and offloading vessel, commonly known as an FPSO, capable of producing up to 200,000 barrels daily.

I'm currently holding Enbridge and Suncor, and both are doing great!! 👍
