See, now why couldn't BA Centre look like that?

Not too garish or outlandish, but has some architectural features to make it somewhat more interesting that a regular box.

The more impressive it will look when seen along with the IFC across the harbour, forming a "Harbour Gateway" that marks the entry into HK:

(I've in mind a much better rendering I came across in the past, but couldn't find it online. Basically imagine the two towers flanking the water and each shooting up a beam of light into the sky.)
