What a shit looking hotel and brand to be built in the club district. I should know I work at an HGI. Great hotel for business people.. but no taste for that area.
Better off if the developers did an element hotel, or a w aloft, or the new Edition hotel by marriott designed by ian schrager. But i understand hilton and HGI have a reputation of pulling corporate clients, but I'm sure a trendy boutique style hotel would have been much better in that area. Not a boring everyday brick building + boring brand, toronto already has so many of those.
