Then why does the GO Transit website say that "Trips will serve Etobicoke North, Malton, Bramalea, Brampton and Mount Pleasant stops"?Sorry, it’ll be an express train that starts from Mount Pleasant.
Because it’s skipping stations… the definition of express. Then why does the GO Transit website say that "Trips will serve Etobicoke North, Malton, Bramalea, Brampton and Mount Pleasant stops"?
The other key piece of information is that "Kitchener line passengers continuing to Exhibition GO can stay on the train after its arrival at Union Station for Lakeshore West line service to Exhibition GO"
On top of what Willy said, it seems like it's supposed to be diametrically opposed to UP Express, UP serves Bloor and Weston, GO serves EN, Malton, Bramalea, Brampton, and MP.Then why does the GO Transit website say that "Trips will serve Etobicoke North, Malton, Bramalea, Brampton and Mount Pleasant stops"?

Finally, the first weekend where going downtown from Brampton won’t be as dreadful! In all seriousness though, hoping this becomes successful with loads of demand and that they make this permanent as a great point starting from here. There’s weekend service on the Kitchener Line this Saturday if anyone is interested, it runs express from Mount Pleasant in both directions every 2 hours.
Usually it was always one or two trips in each direction though...not a whole day worth of service.Weekend trips pre-covid have been done have been done to Brampton before, I think mostly for Labour Day weekends to the CNE.
But well...
This is true. But rather than saying "it runs express from Mount Pleasant in both directions" or "an express train that starts from Mount Pleasant", why not just say "it skips Weston and Bloor" and we'd all know what we were talking about!Because it’s skipping stations… the definition of express.View attachment 416578
Ah, that's useful. I'm surprised they don't show Exhibition GO.Here is the Kitchener Line Schedule for July 30th only. Express in that Weston and Bloor stops will be skipped.
It would be nice if Richmond Hill Trains ran on weekends when the CNE is running. They really need to get started on that new platform, it's been in the works for years.Weekend trips pre-covid have been done have been done to Brampton before, I think mostly for Labour Day weekends to the CNE.

Someone should just get the siding open.So just like last week there’s a GO-Amtrak conflict again at Niagara, but this time Amtrak is reversing as far back as they can do their 5 cars + locomotive can fit on the same platform as our 12 cars + two locomotives.
