The rebar is actually for a slab over the tunnel that will carry the second track. I'm surprised they haven't torn down the old GO elevator building in the middle of what will be the east platform. Nice to see that they are starting to get the platform shelter built further down the track.

I belie it's being kept in place right now for TTC access to a community centre that is on that side of the tracks, that and the only other elevator that access the station building is at the parking lot

Thanks for another great video Reece.

With all due respect, your video doesn't cover what 99% of Toronto transit users want to know from Metrolinx..............how much is it going to cost to use the service? All the improvements in the world will not mean anything to most people because they still won't be able to use the system. One may live right near a GO station and it may have 30 trains going by every hour but that will not increase ridership if the bulk {students, lower income, working class, seniors, disabled} of the potential new riders can't take advantage of it.

GO & RER can indeed be a truly transformative project moving millions of Torontonians everyday or an expensive make-work project with both limited appeal and ridership and it's all going to depend on the fares.
