Former President Donald Trump's United States of America

Just speculation on my part but I will bet if somebody did a dive into his life pre-politics, they wouldn't find an iota of evidence of faith or religiosity. He's playing to his base.
You would win that bet. I think almost everyone knows the measure of this man by now. Unfortunately, a lot of supporters in the US go along with this hollow man because he gives them selectively what they want, and it's usually single issue items that support things like systemic racism or anti-abortion rights. And not to forget, he's anti-science when it suits him fanning the flames of resentment against the so-called " elite ", also referred to as the "educated". He golfs and Nero played the fiddle while Rome burned ; at least Nero could play something.

Since one of Donald's children has Jewish in-laws, likely they are using an outside synagogue and using golf clubs to measure out 2 m (6 feet) between the players, I mean worshippers.

Trump threatens social media after Twitter fact-checks him

The Canadian Press May 27, 2020

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Wednesday threatened social media companies with new regulation or even shuttering a day after Twitter added fact checks to two of his tweets.

The president can’t unilaterally regulate or close the companies, which would require action by Congress or the Federal Communications Commission. But that didn't stop Trump from angrily issuing a strong warning.

Claiming tech giants “silence conservative voices,” Trump tweeted, “We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen.”

Fun fact: Twitter suspended Donald Trump for a very short time by a soon-to-be ex-employee.

Trump seeks to capitalize on Twitter's attempts to constrain him

Thu May 28, 2020

Washington (CNN) President Donald Trump is set to announce an executive order against social media companies on Thursday, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany told reporters aboard Air Force One on the return flight to Washington following NASA's aborted SpaceX launch.

McEnany did not specify what the order would include, but it signals the most significant step the President has taken in his war with tech companies as they struggle to balance freedom of speech with the growing problem of misinformation.
