I am on vacation using hotel wifi and getting this error:

Is this by design?

I get that every now and again on this and other sites. I clear my browser history and cookies and all is well. No technical clue why.

Certain locations have IP's banned due to excessive spam.

I'm having this issue in Vietnam. Access on my phone is fine, but my laptop is blocked. They are on the same network. Very curious. Monkeying with various wifi settings seems to be able to fix it, but not necessarily permanently. Seems kind of voodoo.

I'm having the same issue on the Discovery Princess in the South Pacific. The ship, like Saphhire Princess, uses starlink and it was ok when I was on the Antarctica cruise two years ago but as of yesterday I get the Forbidden Access message. Hotel wifi in Sydney worked ok. I'm getting around the issue by remoting into a computer at home.

I am getting 403 Forbidden when trying to access the Map but the forum is fine

Okay looks like the web server the News and Maps sub sites use doesn’t like my Bell Fibe router (74.12.251.182) but is fine with my cell

How do we get an IP that has been banned, unbanned, if we were not the cause of the initial banning?

I’m having this issue now, with accessing the forum. Any fix? No issues accessing from my phone on the same network, but Forbidden when trying on my laptop.

Any way to fix the unable to access permanently, I only get this on my bell wifi but not on bell cell, network, it also works if I turn on tunnerbear but I shouldn’t have to do that for a site like urbantoronto
