Mini update. There’s signage on the pillars at station level.Update to the signage that are being rolled out for Line 6’s soft opening. The outside signs on a pole have been put with Line 6’s logo, and some station walls are receiving signage brackets that will point the direction to the new Line 6 pathway. (Signage was also updated on the south Main Entrance, unsure about the North but didn’t get a photo)View attachment 699307View attachment 699308
The exit information should be on its own section. That's an awful lot of text, no?
Any transit geeks here planning to ride this line on opening day just because?![]()
You always need text next to pictograms on wayfinding signage for accessibility reasons. Not sure we need text next to pictograms that describe what is where. People know what the icon for 'Washrooms' is.

When I was looking randomly at some data a while ago, I think you could see a difference between a Monday and a Tuesday. What does Tuesday data look like. Kudos to @T3G for providing actual data!I am surprised that the bus 36 scheduled trip time is so much greater than the actual trip time. Maybe, the scheduled time includes several minutes for the terminal recovery?
For what it’s worth (setting aside my strong belief that any text needs to be grouped together with the pictogram it’s describing), it’s not immediately obvious to me what the intended hierarchy here is. Assuming all the destinations are necessary to include at this point (I assume two separate roads are named because you can access other roads by heading in another direction, otherwise should just point to street level), grouping destinations together by type (ie transit modes, station amenities, external destinations) would increase the predictability of the sign content throughout the station such that you didn’t have to look for your destination on each subsequent sign, rather it would appear where you expect it from sign to sign. If what you’re looking for isn’t on the sign, you’ll have gone too far. So:Mini update. There’s signage on the pillars at station level.View attachment 700310
