Finch West Line 6 LRT

Yes there are plenty of space for centre separated bus lanes on those streets, even space to replace lost car lanes by making the roads wider.
But what if we don't do that?

Also. I think that a Lawrence-Dixon BRT would make sense, but I still hold that from Don Mills into Scarborough, Lawrence East could benefit from an LRT to connect to Relief Line North. That could make the West-Dixon line use Sunnybrook (or Leaside on the Crosstown) as a terminus.

As for Finch West, if it's being built for people in the North York and Rexdale areas who work in the airport area, then that's fine. I just don't know if there's enough service that could fill the last mile problem for those not working directly at Pearson.

The Pearson Transit Hub will be a BIG employment centre, needing access from employees who can't or don't want to use an automobile. Don't forget that Woodbine Racetrack/Casino, etc. will also be a big employment centre. In addition, Humber College's North Campus and Etobicoke General Hospital — William Osler Health System will only get bigger from population increases (after COVID-19), drawing more transit users from employment and actual users.

Can we just give some credit to the team who animated this. This looks gorgeous.
I'll admit Metrolinx definitely knows how to make beautiful station renderings. This video and the crosstown station renderings as proof. Looking forward to having coffee at the confident coffee place too. :)

So finch West gets fare gates but the crosstown stations don't?
They will have fare gates:
"It will be a combination—stations with subway entrances will get fare gates and outdoor stops will receive PRESTO off-board readers like those currently at GO stations"

Keep in mind they will have the newer presto fare readers that has been seen across GO recently and it's up to the TTC to install open payment on day one.

Clearly the personal who made the rendering mixed up east and west. The LRV is going westbound while saying eastbound on the platforms on both in station and on street

The Finch West Station and the Humber College Station on the Line 6 Finch West are to be terminal stations. That means the trains could enter and depart on either side of the platforms using the crossover tracks.

The Humber College trenched stop not having a fully covered platform feels like a mistake. Also, what is with the (T) logos? Is the company(s) making the renders making this choice or did Metrolinx make it a specification. Didn't the Eglinton MSF sign at the entrance have this logo on it and they had to cover it up?
