Underground public washrooms at Queen and Parliament with an exhaust pipe (?) sticking out from a little pagoda. I wonder how many of those there were around town? Presumably City run.
And is that a vending machine on the side of the building in that earlier photo? I wonder what it sold?
And there was no pond of water in front of the war memorial at Queen and University. I wonder when that was added?
To think that the first Mock Goth Trinity College survived for over a century, until the mid-1950's, before being demolished -all that remains is the stone gate at Trinity-Bellwoods Park which I think dates from the early 1900's.
