Amazing what will pop up online, isn't it?
That guy (Goldie) must be obsessed by bank failures!

I wouldn't bank on it! There's some amazing record of Toronto banks available on-line, but trying to figure out the corner of where that magnificent bank was located, it must be the southeast corner:

The give-away is the building directly south. Next question, is the present 'Green Beanery' the original structure wildly modified, or an entire replacement? I'd say, the more I pore over the pics, it's highly brutalized, but the original.

It's like turning a statue into a bag of ground limestone in the guise of progress and modernity.
