Anyone remember Philippe Rushton (prof at Western)? He argued in the late 80s that East Asians were more intelligent than Caucasians, who in turn were more intelligent than Blacks. He seemed to assume a causal relationship based on iq tests, brain size, and crime rates, among other things. (I know at least one person on this forum who would have a heyday with his findings...)
All his studies seem to indicate is that there is not necessarily a correlation between intelligence and possession of a Ph.D.
