Looks like they may have a new tenant for the former "The Gem Bar & Grill" space on Davenport just west of Ossington. The for lease sign is gone and there appears to be possibly some work going on to renovate the place

Cozy cafe???

Either way, the one of a kind quirkiness that the Gem brought to the area is lost forever. The last thing this city needs is more vanilla crap.

Possibly the wrong thread but can’t see a closer match. 15 April. New café coming to Keele/St. Clair West as well as a number of renovations along Davenport for new businesses.
