Crazy Hydro Bill?

The electric heating will always kill you. My bill is the $20 to $30 range as well. My delivery charge is sometimes greater than the actual electricity charge.

Just wanted to let you in on what happened so that I don't leave people thinking I was rooked by Toronto Hydro. They were actually pretty good about it in fact. They discovered that the meter hadn't been read before I moved in and they must have estimated reading way off because my average daily usage has been around 22-25 kwh the past month (I stil think that is a little high).
Anyway, they were apologetic and said they will adjust my billing to reflect that average usage. Thanks again for sharing your billing info!

Same here. Total bill of around $40 including delivery charges, meter reading, etc. The actual fee for electricity is a pretty small portion of that.

That is for 2 people who work from home running internet oriented companies. That means we cook 3 squares a day and have various computers, electronics, and lights on for an average of 18 hours per day since one of us is almost always home and online.
