Richard Florida did this for a bunch of US cities, but I found this article with detailed maps for Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.

I don't know why Florida calls the professional class the "creative class" but you can see it mapped by tract here:

http://martinprosperity.org/map_test/compare-map-storytelling-template-js-master/

Top 10 Creative Class Tracts:

1. Tract 86 (Rosedale) 66%
2. Tract 60 (Harbord Village) 65.9%
3. Tract 67 (Cabbagetown) 64.8%
4. Tract 139 (Lytton Park) 63.7%
5. Tract 138 (Lawrence Park) 63.3%
6. Tract 22 (Beaches) 62.4%
7. Tract 118 (Casa Loma) 62.1%
8. Tract 125 (Moore Park) 61.8%
9. Tract 87 (Rosedale) 61.3%
10 (tie.) Tract 73 (Discovery District) 61.2%
Tract 121 (Deer Park) 61.2%

It's from a few years ago so I'm not sure if this is 2006 or 2011 census/NHS data.

Pretty sure it is the 2006 census. Obviously the core has become more CC over the last decade, but I suspect the top CC list would be more or less the same.

Sorry Admiral but I wanted to comment on this "More like the folks that own the firms, than those that actually create anything."

That is in itself a kind of classist comment. People believe for instance that Architects are creative and speak of a building as a Gehry or what not. The reality I see is that a building exists as a creation of the owner. The architect is doing creative work and helping to fulfilling the realization of a creation or dream of the owner but the primary creation is in the mind of the owner not the architect. The same is true of businesses. Businesses only exist as the dream or realization of it's founder / founders. Even if everyone working for the firm is creative and doing creative work, the primary creative act is in the mind of the owner / founder.

Well sure, if I'm getting married, I pay for the cake and might give some recommendations on what I'd like it to look and taste like, and how much I want to spend. That doesn't make me a pâtissier. I am the producer, not the creator.

Yeah, don't bash the Job Creators.
